FIRST ULTRASOUND!

Went for my first U/S today!!  It went great!  Little Beans heart rate was 122! My official due date is May 18, 2012!

Gone For the Weekend!

We have been planning our 5 year wedding anniversary for months now!  I figured once we found out we were expecting my DH would want to cancel the trip but boy was I wrong!!  So we are leaving tonight and wont be back until the 28th which I think is good because I have been stressing a little bit about going in for my first US and not finding a baby!!  So we wont be home until the evening before our ultrasound!

The Joys of Pregnancy Symptoms!

Well up until today my M/S hasn't been to bad.  The occasional vomiting, but have been fighting nausea the whole time!  Well I woke up today and dry heaved for 45mins!  Ugghhh!!  So I am thinking that this is the beginning of the end!  With my DS I had M/S from 6 weeks until I had him! I am praying that Dramamine will do the trick this time instead of Zofran.

Also, if my TaTa's hurt any worse I wont be able to put a bra on!  They are sooo tender and swollen!  Cant wait for my first trimester to be over with!

And if you think that's all of them no!  I have bad head aches, I am more tired than I have EVER been, I have a cyst that is causing tremendous amounts of pain on my right side, and not to mention the round ligament pain has already set in!

So I am not even 7 weeks pregnant and my DH and I are already arguing over who is going to be here for the delivery!  I figured this would be a fight around 7 or 8 months.

His parents (which all they do is get on my nerves, are loud and obnoxious, and all they want to do is drink, smoke, and party)  live in Texas, and we live in Florida.  So if they come down they will be bringing my Sister-in-law who will be 8, my nephew who they are raising who will be 4, my MIL and Step father-in-law.  

We live in a 3 bedroom/2 bath double wide that is barely big enough for us since we currently have some of our close friends staying with us until they can find a new place.  So right now its Me, my DH, my DS, and our two friends.  Thats 5 people plus the new LO. And if they come down that will be 10 people in a tiny house!!!!  I dont think my nerves will be able to handle that!

So tonight I told my DH that his parents will need to get a hotel room!  He said he wasnt going to ask them to do that and told me to go stay at the hotel!  I said NO problem!  Me, my DS, and new LO will be more than happy to get a room! And then when I want to let people come see I will but dont have to!  

He got really upset!  I know he wants his mom here!  And I dont blame him for that!  But that is just way to many people with a new born!  And I might have to have a c-section so I dont know what to do!

Sorry I had to vent and no one else to talk to!  Any advice will be much appreciated.

Decisions

So many choices to make before the 28th!  But one of which I will only be able to make that day after my ultrasound!

1)  Should I try for a VBAC if we are only having one baby?

I know that if its more than one I will have to have a c-section!  But if its only one I do not want a repeat c-section or at least that's what I think I don't want! ! Seeing as how I had my first son naturally and my second via c-section, I know the pros and cons of both!  So I am going to have to sit down and write them down and go over them with my wonderful hubby!

2)  If we do have a VBAC do I want an epidural?

Ok so I am not normally scared of needles except when they are going to be stuck into my back!  With my first delivery all I had was Demerol, my second obviously I had a spinal because it was a c-section.  I didn't like the Demerol!  All it did was make me sleep!  I don't want to sleep through this I want to remember my labor (just maybe not feel it LOL).  So that leaves the epidural!  I think I can live with the fear to be free of the pain so when I sit down to write on my labor plan I will make sure they know I want one as soon as I can have it!

3)  If we have a VBAC do we want to use a Midwife or DR?

I am thinking Doctor because I want a epidural!  But the good thing about the place I am using they have multiple Doctors and Midwifes for me to choose from and they want us to see all of them and then make our choice!

I am still thinking of other things we need to decide and I will let everyone know as soon as we do!

Good Morning, Morning Sickness

Well morning sickness has started showing its ugly side!  Thankfully not throwing up, yet, but I am super nauseated!  With my second pregnancy I was put on Zofran (which is what they give Chemo patients for nausea)    but this time I don't want any type of un-natural medicine!  I am going to go get me some Ginger pills.

On top of that pesky pregnancy symptom, I have tender breast, I'm REALLY tired all the time, and some others that I will not mention!  I had all of these with my previous pregnancy but they didn't start this early on!  They started more around 7 or 8 weeks and I am around 5 weeks!

Hopefully when I find out exactly how far I am, I will be able to tell more about the baby and his/her development!

Sorry I didn't post anything yesterday but I wasn't feeling to well!  The morning sickness has set in!  Well we have our first Dr. App scheduled and they will be doing an ultrasound that day :)!  I am still a little worried about everything but its in Gods hands!!

I am excited that I am getting to use the Doctors group that I had wanted to!  Our first appointment is going to be on the 28th!
